Hazel is a sweet 7 year old tabby who loves affection and will play with someone with a feather toy for hours. She really needs to get out of the condo she resides in and get some exercise so she can become the svelte kitty we know she really is. A Great Big Thank You To All Who Attended the 3rd Annual Black Cat Strut!
On April 28, 2013, we enjoyed a record turnout from runners, walkers, pet owners, and a host of other rescue and pet-oriented organizations. Thanks to all who attended, and a special thanks to our fundraising and Strut coordinators. We could not have done it all without you, and you deserve great praise!

Sweet Betsy has been at the ICS since she came in with her kittens over 10 years ago. The kittens are gone and Betsy is still looking for a home of her own. She is a little shy but once you win her over she loves to be petted and brushed and is very affectionate. Betsy would love to have a home and family of her very own for her 'golden years'. Wont you come meet her in the room called Kitty Korner and make her dream come true. She is waiting for you!!

During May we are promoting the many wonderful tabby cats and kittens available for adoption at the ICS. You can adopt a tabby cat for only $35 and two tabby cats for only $55. If you chose a companion for your tabby that is not a tabby it can be adopted for only $25. Tabby Spokescat, Rollo, says "Tabby cats make the best furrever friends and they come in many colors, ages and sizes". He hopes you will come out and adopt him or one or more of our many wonderful tabbys this month. We look forward to seeing you!!!

Kitten season is coming soon and the ICS is looking for good foster families to help us care for these young kittens and their moms. Or maybe you could help care for a sick kitten that needs some extra attention and care. Could you help us to help them???
