Caring for feral cats

Do you have stray and feral cats in your neighborhood? Would you like to help them live a better life?

Alley Cat Allies, is a national nonprofit clearinghouse for information on feral and stray cats. This organization is a helpful source for the information you need to help the feral cat population in your backyard.

The Feral Cat Coalition website offers good information, including instructions for trapping feral cats, raising orphan kittens, and taming feral kittens. They also have a report on Trap/Alter/Release programs, and a source for humane traps.

The Humane Society of the United States website has many feral cat resources, with more on the way.

Note: The Neuter Scooter mobile spay/neuter clinic accepts feral cats.
