Porter County's Be Kind to Animals Event

The ICS will have a booth at this event which will have for sale, Calico Corney's Catnip, catnip toys, catnip mats and many other items. We will also have information on our many programs such as Assisted Spay & Neuter, TNR and Foster Parents Program for our Senior and Special Needs cats.
Furry Fun Fair

About 200 children will learn about animal care and being kind to animals. Each child will receive a stuffed dog or cat, coloring and game packet, crayons, stickers and a snack. A raffle will be held for tshirts and books. This event was made possible by a grant from the Kenneth Scott Foundation
50/50 Raffle

A 50/50 Raffle will be held to help us pay the rising medical costs of the cats in our care. Tickets on sale at the shelter or by mail. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Drawing held on July 18th and winner need not be present to win.
Aunt Kitty's Trash and Treasures Yard Sale

Along with lots of yard sale items we will have Calico Corney's Catnip, catnip toys, catnip mats, home baked goods and many other items for sale. We will also have raffle tickets for our new 50/50 on sale at this event. The Cool Cat Cafe will be available for refreshments while shopping. Our shelter will be open for adoptions both days.
Donations for the yard sale are desperately needed and will be accepted Friday, May 14th from 9 am to 3 pm or on the day of the sale. So clean out your closets and garages and help us help the kitties. No clothing, please.

We desperately need the following items: powdered and canned KMR replacement milk, microwaveable heating discs, baby blankets, nursing bottles, canned and dry kitten food, canned Fancy Feast & Friskies ground varieties, toys, laundry detergents, paper plates, paper towels, and clumping and clay litter.
